SAN ANTONIO — One person is in critical condition after shooting on the Far Northwest side.

According to police, around 3:30 a.m., a robbery occurred in the parking lot of Spice A Gentleman's Lounge. The victims tracked down a security guard from the lounge, and told him what happened. The victims pointed out the alleged robber who was still on property.

The security guard approached the man and they began to argue. The man then pulled a gun and ran across the street to the Avistar at the Parkway Apartments. The security guard ran after him and finally caught up to him in the complex.

Once there, the man pulled out a gun again and pointed it toward the security guard. The security guard pulled his weapon and shot him several times.

The man who was shot was taken to SAMMC in critical condition.

The security guard was cooperating with police. No charges have been filed. Police are still investigating.
