SAN ANTONIO — An accident involving a VIAtrans Van and a U-Haul has left several critically injured on the city's Far West Side, witnesses from the scene confirm. 

The accident occurred at Culebra Road and Westover Hills Drive just before 3 p.m. Friday.

According to a statement from VIA Transit, witnesses reported to police that the U-Haul driver crossed the lane and struck the van. 

San Antonio police say the accident is between a 26-foot U-Haul and the van. There were 6 people on the van including driver, with 2 of them in critical condition. There was only the driver in the U-Haul. All involved were transported to University Hospital.
