SAN ANTONIO — One man has been arrested for aggravated assault after running over a man who allegedly hit his Mercedes with a baseball bat.

According to police, the incident took place near the North Central side of town around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Hermosa Drive. The driver and the 18-year-old man got into an argument. The man who was not in the car started hitting the car with a baseball bat and smashed several windows. The driver then ran over the man with the bat and drove away.

The driver, however, realized his kids were still at home and went back. When he came back the man with the bat went after the car.

Police arrested the driver. The man with the bat was taken to University Hospital.
