SAN ANTONIO – A woman has been hospitalized after she was attacked by two men at an apartment building in North Bexar County.

The woman was hit on the head with a hammer and cut on her leg around 1:15 a.m. She told police the men also stabbed her.

Managing to escape, the woman hid in the elevator and hit the emergency button. The elevator company called police to the scene.

Arriving deputies found the woman hiding in the elevator. She was transported to University Hospital.

Police do not have the suspects in custody at this time. 

The apartment complex is on the 4092 block of TCP Parkway.
