SAN ANTONIO — This year Cinco de Mayo and the Kentucky Derby fall on the same day. If you feel like celebrating there are several events happening around town.

Cinco de May at Traders Village - Traders Village will play host to the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in Texas. The party lasts for two days and visitors can enjoy music at three stages with  nine different bands. Visitors can spend time shopping, riding amusement rides, and more.

Cinco de Mayo Tex Mex Bash - This is the ultimate Cinco de Mayo celebration. There will also be live performances by Flaco Jimenez, Santiago Jimenez Jr. and Augie Meyers.

Cinco de mayo at the Pearl - Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Pearl! Enjoy live music by El Tallercito de Son from 4-7 p.m. while taking advantage of the Bottling Department's specials for the holiday.

Cinco de Derby - The makers of San Antonio’s own Seersucker Southern Style Gin are celebrating the grand opening of Seersucker Distillery with a Cinco de Mayo party and viewing of the Kentucky Derby. The public is invited to the recently remodeled 5,000 square-foot distillery to watch the race on an outdoor video wall.

Kentucky Derby Watch Party at the Range - Party-goers can break out the seersuckers and bow ties for a patio party and watch the race on the big screen. There will also be a best hat contest.
