SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Public Library will temporarily close Cody Branch Library for renovations.
The library at 11441 Vance Jackson Road will be closed for 11 days total from Thursday, May 3 through Sunday, May 13.
According to library officials, the book drop will remain open, and holds will be available for pickup Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Improvements coming to the branch include new furniture, new carpet, upgraded children’s area, new area for Tweens, improved interior signage, and more. The renovations are designed to ensure that the beloved community library remains a valuable community asset.
Cody patrons are encouraged to visit nearby locations to access print materials and DVDs, public computers, public WiFi, and programs for all ages.
