SAN ANTONIO -- The Bexar County Sheriff’s Department on Monday reported it investigated another possible attempted breakout at the Adult Detention Center.

About 1:30 p.m., personnel discovered a ceiling tile that appeared to have been tampered with.
As a result, the main jail as well as the jail annex was placed on lockdown until a full facility population count was conducted. All inmates were accounted for.

The lockdown was lifted at 2:14 p.m. and jail operations have returned to normal.
