SAN ANTONIO -- Spring is here and for Animal Care Services that means it's peak puppy and kitten season and they need help from the public handling all the new arrivals.
They're looking for foster homes and people willing to care for kittens and puppies until they're old enough to be adopted out.
They also need formula and pet food as well as blankets, towels, heating pads and small glass or plastic jars with lids. People can drop off donations from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends
Animal Care Services is also asking all pet owners to take advantage of low cost spay and neuter services.
