SAN ANTONIO -- WalletHub released its report Monday on the best cities in the country to celebrate Easter in 2018, and some cities in the Lone Star State made the list.
Their findings were based upon comparing the 100 largest cities across 12 key metrics, ranging from Easter egg-hunt events per capita to Easter weather forecast.
In Texas, Houston ranked No. 8, Dallas came in at No. 13, followed by San Antonio at No. 14. New York City topped the list, and Las Vegas was last at No. 100. The study estimated that the total Easter-related spending in 2018 will top $18 billion, with more than $2 billion to be spent on candy.
If you are the type of person to eat the ears off of a chocolate bunny before devouring the rest of its body, you are not alone. The study reports that 59 percent of people also savor the ears first.
