SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Chief of Police William McManus spoke on the state of the city as well as gave details on the SAPD's role in the Schertz FedEx explosion at a press conference Tuesday.

Intiially the chief said that there were actually two packages at the Schertz FedEx facility during the media briefing, but the department redacted his statement a few hours later, saying he misspoke.

He discussed other measures the city is taking to amp up security and their role in the ongoing investigation. 

When asked about upcoming Final Four festivities, he said more security could be possible with the upcoming NCAA tournament taking place in downtown San Antonio.
