SAN ANTONIO – An aggravated robbery suspect is now in custody after he turned himself in to police.

Triston Lloyd Jackson, 27, confessed to investigators that he stole two cell phones and a wallet from three victims around 1:32 a.m. on Monday, March 12. He also admitted to grabbing one of the victims and throwing her in nearby bushes.

According to the affidavit, the incident occurred in a parking lot on the 4550 block of Lavender Lane involving two suspects. During the robbery, shots were fired, hitting one of the victims with a bullet on the left arm. The rear passenger window of the victim’s vehicle was also shot out.

The victims told police they were forced out of the vehicle while held at gunpoint.

One of the suspects, Darrel Johnson, was tracked down by police and arrested shortly after. Johnson had the two stolen cell phones in his possession.

Police interrogated Johnson at the scene who gave the name of the other suspect in the robbery.

Later that day, one of Jackson's family members called investigators to say that the suspect wanted to turn himself in. Jackson arrived at the robbery office and was advised of his Miranda Rights.

During his interrogation, Jackson admitted to his involvement in the robbery. He is currently booked at the Bexar County Jail.
