SAN ANTONIO — A woman was struck in the middle street after exiting her vehicle after crashing it.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 2:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23. 

The 28-year-old woman, believed to be intoxicated, had crashed her vehicle into the median of the 6800 block of UTSA Boulevard.

Police say she then got out of her car, was standing in the middle of the street and was sideswiped by a pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup truck stopped to render aid and faces no charges.

The woman was transported to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and will be assessed for DWI.
