UNIVERSAL CITY, Texas — Live Oak Police Department's missing K9 has been found!

On Friday morning, according to Seguin Police Department's Deputy Chief Ure, Live Oak PD confirmed a citizen spotted him in a field.

His handler is at the vet with him getting him checked out. No other details at this time.

The Live Oak Police Department is looking for one of its dogs who went missing on Jan. 15, according to nonprofit K9s of Valor.

“K9 Warrant with City of Live Oak, Texas Police has gone missing from the Universal City area of San Antonio, Texas. Please be on the lookout and pray K9 Warrant is located safe. The family is heartbroken, please help spread the word so he can come home. Call 911, if located,” a post on Facebook said.

The dog is named Warrant and he is a 2-year-old brindle-colored Dutch Shepherd.
