SAN ANTONIO — Two people are dead after a crash with a FedEx truck on the South Side.
The accident happened Wednesday evening at around 8 p.m., police said.
The crash happened near I-35 at Fischer Road. According to police, the vehicle carrying the two victims was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer.
A FedEx tractor-trailer rear-ended them, pushing the car to the side of the road.
Investigators said the car caught fire, killing the two people inside.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.
Witnesses were able to get the driver out of the vehicle, but he died at the scene.
The two victims have no yet been identified.
