ROUND ROCK, Texas – A man accused of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman two years ago has been arrested in Williamson County.

Police believe Roy Walters, 37, assaulted the woman he and a friend met at the Big Shotz Bar in Round Rock.

The woman was found by police lying on the ground on Nov. 26, 2015 after she was sexually assaulted and thrown out of a vehicle, according to the affidavit.

In a police interview the woman said after meeting the men at the bar she walked away from her drink at some point. As they were leaving together she noted feeling significantly more intoxicated than she normally would have based on the few number of drinks she had, states the affidavit.

Getting into the same car, the woman said they stopped at a gas station before ending the night at a residence she didn’t know. When they arrived at the house, the woman told investigators that one of the men hit her in the face twice.

Inside the house, the woman told one of the men she wanted to leave, but both of them said they would not take her home. It was then she was hit in the head again and passed out.

Coming in and out of consciousness the woman said she remembers one of the men sexually assaulting her.

A Sexual Assault Nurse Examination was given to the woman following the assault confirming that she has been assaulted by a man.

Police found surveillance footage of the men with the victim at the gas station the night of the assault.  Using social media, police were able to identify the man the woman described as Walters.

Walters was arrested on Nov. 18 and has since bonded out of jail.
