SAN ANTONIO - Two women are safe after being held against their will for days. The men who authorities said are responsible are now behind bars facing human trafficking charges.

San Antonio officers were called to a north side hotel around 2 a.m. on Monday. Police said the men held two teenagers captive forced them into prostitution. One of the women managed to escape and called for help.

“Police proceeded to the hotel; they were confronted by an individual. He did have a weapon on him. They were able to detain him, get the other victim and speak with her," said Sgt. Michelle Ramos with San Antonio Police Department.

The two victims were taken to a nearby hospital. Police say one of the girls knew her alleged trafficker.

“There was mentioned that they used some kind of app in order to make their dates, and also Backpage,” said Ramos.

“Never guilty,” said 27 year-old Jarvis Anderson who’s facing one count of human trafficking. His bond is set at $30,000.

“I’m innocent,” said 20 year-old Lawrence Jackson who faces two counts of human trafficking and trafficking of a minor. His bonds add up to $65,000.

Police are investigating to see if there are more victims.
