MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Twins once conjoined are expected to come home this week, just in time for Thanksgiving.

Erin and Abbey Delaney were born attached at the head.

Doctors at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia who performed successful separation surgery in June say they are thriving.

The twins will need additional surgeries to replace the missing bone at the tops of their heads to normalize their hairlines and to minimize scarring.
