SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff is seeking his final term in office.

At a ceremony held for the public works building, Wolff said his 2018 campaign will be his last.

The 77-year-old has several projects he wants to get done if he wins re-election. Wolfe said he is confident he will get everything on his agenda completed and feels if that is the case, there will be no point in him finishing the next term.

"I'm in good health, I run, I lift weights, I'm in better shape than a lot of 20 and 30-year-olds, but I'll be hitting the 80 mark in three or four years so I think it is time to finish these project and let someone else come forward," Wolff said.

Some of Wolff’s goals are to complete construction on the historic Hot Wells resort, renovate the Alameda Theater, and get a third a BiblioTech digital library finished.

If Wolff is re-elected, it will be his fifth four-year term as county judge.
