SAN ANTONIO - The City of San Antonio has partnered with the YMCA to make the 10th annual City Manager's 5K the biggest one yet.

The YMCA is adding its Siclovia event to open the streets for people to run, ride bikes and exercise in their own way on Oct. 22.

The event marks the beginning of 300 Miles, the city's new health and wellness program created in conjunction with Baptist Health Center.

The city says it's all a part of celebrating San Antonio's upcoming Tricentennial in the healthiest way possible.

"This is something that the Tricentennial is also envisioning that leaves legacy. It's not something where we're just going to be active for 2018. We're hoping through these efforts that these are continued habits by those residents, individuals, families and children that they'll continue to do this beyond 2018," said Edward Benavides, CEO of the Tricentennial Commission.

Siclovia will include five adaptive bicycles so people with disabilities can get in on the fun.
