Mother Nature wants to make sure one thing clear:  winter's here.

You'll feel it throughout this first weekend of December.

In addition to nearly steady rainfall, a chilly breeze will make it feel like 40s much of Saturday.  Even though it's generally been dry for three weeks, waves of heavier rain and potential storms throughout the weekend could cause flash flooding.

The heaviest?  NOAA predicts some six to nine inch totals across parts of far SE Texas while, here at home, the forecast suggests potential for two to four inch totals.  The heaviest is expected along and east of the I-35 corridor.
