After missing the playoffs last season, Brandeis is looking to step up its game this year.

The Broncos hold themselves to a high standard, and despite winning seven games last year, not playing December ball isn't going to cut it.

In head coach David Branscom's second season, he's looking to bring things up a level. One way to do that is to play the best guys on the team, even when it means certain players will play both sides of the ball, despite a lengthy roster.

Two key players to watch out for are Brent Malone, a giant linebacker-slash-running back. At 6'1", 210-pounds, he racked up 90 tackes and nine rushing touchdowns last year. Also look out for Oscar Cardenas, a 6'4", 255-pound tight end and defensive lineman.

Last season came to a sudden end with an overtime loss to Jay, by one point. Starting with the Peanut Butter Bowl, the Broncos are chasing more this year.
