The area of low pressure responsible for the wet showers Saturday is over the Big Bend area this morning. A broken band of showers south of our area continues to feed into this system from the Gulf of Mexico.  We can't rule out a stray shower this afternoon, but it appears most of this will stay south of the Austin area.

Some sunshine will peak through today, so expect a hotter day with highs hitting the low 90s.

As the area of low pressure to our west continues to move west, expect a drying trend much of next week.  With sunshine returning, highs will warm into the low 90s.

A cold front will sink across the middle of the country into the Southern Plains later this week.  With a weak trough in the upper levels of the atmosphere moving into the state, we'll have a chance for showers and thunderstorms Friday going into next weekend.
