While it might not turn into a true Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm, a disturbance near the Yucatan Peninsula shows a pretty good chance of delivering rain to the Gulf Coast.

There are many big questions we still cannot answer like "when" and "where."

This much is certain:  thanks to 11 days in a row of rainfall, the ground across much of the southern half of Texas is saturated and any additional rain could quickly create dangerous flash flooding.
