A weak front has stalled over the state.  This combined with an upper level low over West Texas will provide the instability to produce occasional showers and thunderstorms this weekend.

A weak front stalled across the area will continue to bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area through tonight.  Also a large upper level area of low pressure over west Texas will provide the instability to produce scattered showers and thunderstorm through tonight.  This area of low pressure should move out of the region tomorrow and we'll begin a drying trend next week.  Temperatures today will remain below normal in the low 90s but as we get more sunshine next week, look for highs to reach the upper 90s to near 100.
