Really the only relief we've had from the high heat and humidity has been a breeze from the south over 20 mph.  It appears that breeze will diminish somewhat over the next couple of days.  Expect mostly sunny skies today with highs in the upper 90s to near 100.  Factoring in the humidity the feels like temperature or heat index will range between 100 and 105.  High pressure will remain in control of our weather for the rest of the week into the weekend.  Highs will be near 100 and overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.  Only a few morning clouds can be expected with lots of afternoon sunshine.

You may notice some haze in the skies later this weekend as an area of dust traveling westward across the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico reaches the Lone Star State.
