We ended the weekend with needed rainfall, but unfortunately there were strong to severe storms and a confirmed weak tornado in Williamson County. Rain totals averaged from 0.25 to about 1 inch, with isolated amounts over 2 inches.

A few light showers will be possible Monday morning, and it will be warm and muggy with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. With daytime heating and a stalled frontal boundary still nearby, we can't rule out a few isolated storms through the early evening, but strong to severe storms aren't expected. Daytime highs will stay out of the 90s, but it will likely feel like low 90s thanks to the high humidity.

We'll start drying out after Tuesday, and that will send daytime highs back into the upper 90s by the Memorial Day weekend.

If your plans take you outside over the long weekend, check back with us for updates! Computer models are showing another cold front moving in Saturday into Sunday with a few scattered showers and storms.
