After spending much of the week with sunshine clouds have returned.  An upper-level low is moving through Colorado today with winds aloft coming from the southwest to northeast.  The upper low will move towards the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma between now and Saturday.  There will be a low chance of rain through Saturday morning.  A slightly better chance of showers with a few isolated thunderstorms will push west-to-east with the approach and passage of the dry line.  The cold front arrives between 12 and 2 a.m. Sunday leading to another chance of showers and thunderstorms.  

The Storm Prediction Center has this area under a MARGINAL RISK for strong to severe storms.  Bastrop, Bell, Burnet, Travis, and Williamson Counties are in this low-risk area.  However, Central Texas has had MARGINAL RISK areas in the past only to see some active thunderstorms producing lightning and strong gusty winds.  

This will will NOT be a much of a rainmaker with nearly all totals from now through 7 a.m. Sunday holding under .10".

Sunday will be bright and breezy with a north wind up to 10 to 20 mph and gusty.

Temperatures the next few days will be below normal (81) through Monday .  Lows through Tuesday morning will be in the 50s.  After highs today in the low 70s, the area will be in the mid 70s Saturday, the upper 70s Sunday and around 80 Monday.
