Grab some light sleeves!  Chill is in the air, once again, thanks to last night's cold front.  With afternoon highs rising up only to near 70, it'll be our coolest day of the week.

Sustained northerly winds will be around 10 to 20 mph with gusts even higher out there today.  A rush of notably drier wind behind last night's front brings a slightly elevated fire threat to our area today thanks to the general lack of rainfall.  Wind speeds will gradually diminish by evening, then the direction will start to shift, too, with a south-easterly wind coming back at us tomorrow.

Clouds will start to return from South Texas by tomorrow, and there might be enough moisture back at play by Friday to generate a few showers ahead of our next cold front.  Temperatures are forecast to rise back into the low and mid 80s to close out the week, then another cool burst of air will push across Texas late Friday night through early Saturday morning with at least a 30% chance for showers & storms.

Unfortunately, many areas could be disappointed once again when it comes to a good, soaking rain for the garden.  We have moderate confidence in the front's ability to cool us down, at least, with forecast high temps back in the 60s Saturday to 70s Sunday.
