What a weather event!  While there were a few areas where too much rain fell too quickly, most of us got through our first round of spring storms unscathed.  Perfectly timed for Easter weekend, dry conditions return to most of the Lone Star State for several days to come.  Here at home today, look for highs in the low to mid 80s for most with a few thermometers potentially reaching the upper 80s.

A few lingering clouds should clear out fairly early this morning, leaving us mostly clear for much of the day.  Bright sunshine will combine with dry southwest winds to warm us up quickly.

We've also got a third player:  a weak cold front is on the way.  It's currently timed to arrive an hour or two before sunset (7:48 p.m.) with little fanfare.  Northerly winds will take hold by tonight, ushering in slightly less humid air for the end of our week.

It'll be a cool start to Good Friday tomorrow with rural lows near 50 and metro lows in the low to mid 50s.  The forecast calls for highs in the upper 70s, then we're back to low 80s for the weekend.

Clouds surge back into the picture on Easter Sunday, and it'll probably be a gray start to next week as we await another cold front.  As of now, it looks like that front will arrive Tuesday with some rainfall.
