Spring officially begins on Tuesday, March 20 at 11:15 a.m.

The area is enjoying a nice afternoon in spite of the cool breezes from the north to northeast.  A sunny to partly cloudy sky is forecast for the rest of the day.  Most highs today will peak in the middle 60s.  Lows Tuesday morning will drop to the lower to mid 40s ... with some "feels like" at 7 a.m. in the upper 30s.  Highs tomorrow, again with plenty of sunshine, will peak in the middle to upper 60.

Clouds will thicken during the day Wednesday in advance of an upper-level trough coming through the Arizona to New Mexico to Texas.  Low rain chances will be in the late-week outlook.

An upper-level low currently over the Pacific Ocean will head to the Pacific Northwest Thursday ... then into Nevada for the weekend.  Upper-level winds coming out of the southwest will lead to a chance of showers and thunderstorms for the weekend into early next week.

Temperatures will be warm for the weekend as detailed in your 7 Day Forecast.

Tree pollens are dominating the local pollen counts.  Oak and cedar are in moderate to high numbers today.  The stirring of the cedar trees with today's strong breezes will make it difficult for cedar sufferers.
