It's been a tough couple of mornings out there when it comes to the drive to work and school, and today is no exception!  A cluster of heavy storms brings our most intense rain of the day here for sunrise.  It's a 70% rain chance for the morning hours, diminishing this afternoon.  And that's when temps start to pick up, likely to a range of 60s for most areas.

Southerly winds gradually return today and that's the ticket to more comfort.  We could end up with a wide range of temps, with some 50s north and 60s south.  It really depends on the clouds, which should keep a blanket on most of the area though with some partial clearing expected.

Futurecast shows hit-or-miss light showers this afternoon and evening, then another round of showers & storms looks possible tomorrow morning.  We'll give it a 40% chance overnight to 50% for the first half of Saturday.  A Pacific cold front will sweep through the area around or shortly after noon, with drier air to follow.  That'll be the end of this rain event.

Looking forward to some sunshine?  You're not alone!  We've endured eight gray days in a row and signs of "cabin fever" are picking up.  Lucky for us, Sunday and Monday both look very bright and dry.  A rain chance returns by the middle of next week with another cold front.
