More cold, more gray, more rain "highlighted" Thursday's weather.  Moisture continues to flow in the middle and upper levels from a persistent southwest flow.  Mostly light rain was noted on radar Thursday.  Austin-Mabry measured .12" ... Austin-Bergstrom just .04".  More rain totals are available from the Lower Colorado River Authority.

The cold front that blew through Central Texas Wednesday morning will return Friday morning as a warm front.  Rain and a few thunderstorms are possible after 5 a.m. until around 8 a.m.  The front delivers a southeast wind that will warm temperatures from the 40s Friday morning to the 60s in the afternoon.

Warmer temperatures are ahead for Saturday as highs reach the 70s.  There will be another chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight Friday to Saturday morning followed by some light showers before a Pacific cold front arrives by the middle of the afternoon.

Dry air flowing in behind the front should help sweep out some of the gray in time for a pretty sunset Saturday.  Since the front is coming in from the west the cooling between Saturday and Sunday won't be all that dramatic.  Highs Sunday will be mostly in the low to mid 60s.

Sunday and Monday will be dry.  Your 7 Day Forecast shows another weak front in Monday night ... and another chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday.

Expect mold to be the big allergy issue with all the moisture that still remain.  Tree pollens will still be low to occasionally moderate.
