It'll feel a lot more like late Fall than early Winter this week!  Morning chill will quickly subside and, under a mix of sun and clouds today, we'll find afternoon high temperatures in the mid 70s.  It'll be our warmest day of the week.  A dry, uneventful cold front is scheduled to sweep through the region late tonight with a slight drop in temps, bringing back daytime 70s for the rest of the week.

There's no chance for snow and hardly even a possibility for rain during the next seven days.  Ahead of tonight's front, we see quite a bit of Pacific moisture streaming up and over Mexico into Texas.  Those high clouds will block some of our sun today but, down at ground level, we continue with very low humidity.  Futurecast hardly shows any clouds as the front arrives around or shortly after the midnight hour.  We'll certainly feel the north wind, with gusts up around 20 to 25 mph tomorrow.  After starting with metro low 40s, we'll watch for temps to rise only into the low to mid 60s.

Another weak upper-level feature will cross the area Thursday with little to no fanfare.  Moisture from the Gulf will likely return to the region this weekend ahead of yet another front, which is currently time to arrive Sunday night.  As of now, models show showers developing across South Texas but we're not very confident about much accumulation here at home.  For now, it's a 20% rain chance on Sunday.  See the 7 Day Forecast for more.
