Monday will be the warmest day of the week with highs expected to reach the lower to middle 70s.  A steady stream of upper-level moisture from the Pacific is leading to the partly sunny sky that the area will have for the rest of the day.

A cold front will arrive in Bell Co. around 9 p.m, race to Austin by midnight, the will be south of San Marcos by 2 a.m.  The front comes in dry and leaves a north wind with speeds increasing to near 10+ mph by sunrise.  Lows will fall to the lower half of the 40s.  The rebound will be highs in the lower half of the 60s Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday morning will be the coldest this week with most all lows in the 30s.

Another dry front will move south Thursday with more dry air and a minor drop in temperatures.

Low rain chances appear in Sunday's forecast.  Low pressure in the eastern Pacific may travel far enough east to cause the development of a few showers.  Otherwise, the weekend is dry with high in the mid to upper 60s Saturday to the upper 60s to low 70s Sunday.

A look at the outlook for the last two weeks of the year indicate warmer than normal temperatures and below normal precipitation, meaning no white Christmas.  Chances are you already knew that.
