Warmer air is on tap for Friday and Saturday with highs at or near 90.  Dew points hovering around 70 degrees will make it "feel like" the low to mid 90s.  This will be the case at Zilker Park for the second weekend of the ACL Music Festival.

The next cold front will be moving southeast from the Panhandle/South Plains Saturday.  Present forecasts show the front arriving Sunday morning in the Hill Country.  The front progresses through the region with a chance of showers and thunderstorms ahead of it ... and a NW wind behind.  At this time, it looks the greater chance of rain and storms will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday with rain totals of .10" or less, subject to update.

Your 7 Day Forecast shows cool morning and mild afternoons next week.

For those heading to the Cotton Bowl for the Horns game vs. Oklahoma ... the 2:30 kickoff will be under a sunny sky with a game time temperature of 91.  The wind will be out of the south 10 to 15 mph.

Have a good day.
