Recek QB Rankings

1- Julon Williams – Judson (Senior)

Last Week – Passing 1-1, 10 yards.

2017 Season – Passing 49-74, 1,092 yards 12 TD’s. Rushing 691 yards 11 TD’s.

Not sure why Williams didn’t play much last week, if it was injury or what but they still rolled up a blowout win over East Central with Sincere McCormick at QB.

Previous Rank – 1

2- Matthew Baldwin – Lake Travis (Senior)

Last Week – Passing 13-27, 239 yards 1 TD.

2017 Season: Passing 130-196, 2,106 yards 25 TD’s. Rushing 90 yards 2 TD’s.

It was the first time this season that Baldwin and the LT offense were limited, as they fell to Westlake 21-14. I would imagine the Cavs will take out some frustration on Lehman this Friday.

Previous Rank: 2

3- Chase Griffin – Hutto (Junior)

Last Week – Passing 10-15, 275 yards 3 TD’s. Rushing 9 yards

2017 Season: Passing 113-163, 1,900 yards 18 TD’s. Rushing 87 yards 3 TD’s.

Another week, another stat line for Griffin with very few incompletions, very high yards per catch and an incredible touchdowns to completions ratio.

Previous Rank 3

4- Zadock Dinkelmann – Somerset (Senior)

Last Week- Passing 16-30, 239 yards 3 TD’s.

2017 Season: Passing 73-126, 1,160 yards 10 TD’s. Rushing 1 TD.

It was a tough loss for the Bulldogs against Beeville Jones but Dinkelmann accounted for all the Somerset scoring with his 3 TD passes.

Previous Rank: 4

5- Mak Sexton – Cedar Park (Senior)

Last Week- Passing 22-25, 301 yards 6 TD’s. Rushing 19 yards.

2017 Season: Passing 128-171, 1,461 24 TD’s. Rushing 115 yards 1 TD.

I continue to be amazed by what Sexton and the Cedar Park offense have become this year. He has 20 TD passes in the past 4 games.

Previous Rank: 5

6- Roel Sanchez – O’Connor (Senior)

Last Week – bye

2017 Season: Passing 76-122, 1,189 yards 15 TD’s. Rushing 381 yards 8 TD’s.

Sanchez and O’Connor are coming off their bye week.

Previous Rank: 6

7- Davis Brin – Champion (Senior)

Last Week- Passing 8-14, 122 1 TD. Rushing 58 yards 2 TD’s.

2017 Season: Passing 97-180, 1,233 yards 13 TD’s. Rushing 168 yards 2 TD’s.

Brin has limited his turnovers these past two games and in turn the Chargers have won two straight.

8- Tyler Vitt – MacArthur  (Senior)

Last Week – Passing 17-23, 227 yards 2 TD’s. Rushing 211 yards 1 TD.

2017 Season: Passing 143-223, 1,607 yards 14 TD’s. Rushing 642 yards 5 TD’s.

For the second time this season Vitt has had a huge game rushing the ball. He went for over 200 yards and needed all of them for Mac to beat Madison.

Previous Rank: 8

9 – Cooper Bell – Georgetown (Senior)

Last Week: Passing 13-17, 224 yards 3 TD’s. Rushing 32 yards 3 TD’s.

2017 Season: Passing 103-170, 1,719 yards 27 TD’s. Rushing 141 yards 8 TD’s.

Bell continues to move up the rankings with performances like last week when he accounted for 6 touchdowns. His toughest test comes this week against the Cedar Park defense.

Previous Rank: 10

T10 – Jojo Weeks – Wimberley (Senior)

Last Week – Passing 6-8, 186 yards 3 TD’s. Rushing 29 yards.

2017 Season: Passing 118 – 194, 2,025 yards 19 TD’s. Rushing 148 yards 1 TD.

Weeks goes over the 2,000 yard mark for the season with his performance against Bandera.

Previous Rank: 9

T10 – Trevor Greenman – Dripping Springs (Senior)

Last Week – Passing 13-17, 263 yards 3 TD’s. Rushing 10 yards 1 TD.

2017 Season: Passing 80-123, 1,470 yards 18 TD’s. Rushing 436 yards 8 TD’s.

Another steady night for Greenman as he and Dripping Springs continue to roll.

Previous Rank: 10
