SAN MARCOS, Texas — The Hays County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drowning at Five Mile Dam.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called out just after 2 p.m. Wednesday, for a call about a missing swimmer. At 3:27 p.m., the San Marcos Area Recovery Team located the 15-year-old boy's body. He was found in the same area where he was last seen by witnesses.
The Five Mile Dam parks were temporarily closed, but have since reopened.
