SAN ANTONIO -- The Alamo City ranked 16th for one of the best places in the country in which to celebrate New Year's Eve.

The ranking came from a study conducted by WalletHub.com.

Other Texas cities also made the list, including Dallas, trailing at No. 17, Houston at No. 22, and Austin at No. 27. New York claimed the top spot followed with Los Angeles at No. 2.

The list was compiled measuring the cities' entertainment, costs, food, and safety.
