AUSTIN, Texas — Hundreds of people attended Threadgill's World Headquarters auction Saturday, hoping to take home a piece of Austin history.

The restaurant auctioned off its music memorabilia at the South Austin location.

Bidding started at around $200 for most items.

The restaurant’s Riverside Drive location closed on December 2. The North Lamar location is remains open.
