FRISCO, Texas —  Police say a coyote has attacked four joggers in the past month in the Dallas metro area.

  • Coyote attacked four joggers
  • Police believe the same coyote is responsible for each attack
  • Attacks happened over the past month

Frisco police say in a news release that the latest attack was Wednesday morning and left a jogger hospitalized in stable condition with neck injuries.

Police say the first attack was October 26 and the animal was scared away by another person. On November 1, a 9-year-old child suffered a minor injury when jumped on by a coyote.

On November 11, an officer stopped at a traffic light saw a coyote crossing the intersection behind a jogger and was able to scare the animal way by using the patrol car's siren.

Police believe the same coyote is responsible for each attack and say the department's animal services unit is trying to capture it.
