AUSTIN, Texas -- The Austin Symphony is bringing free music to all Austinites this holiday season. 

The event, Christmas in the Community, is a series of concerts held throughout the city that features different ensembles of the orchestra playing holiday music.

The program begins December 1 at the Macy’s at Barton Creek Mall and concludes December 20 with big band music by members of the orchestra at Central Public Library.

All performances are free and open to the public with no tickets required.
