AUSTIN, Texas – Travelers will have more options for flights at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport after Spirit announced the airline is coming to Austin.
Spirit is offering nonstop flights to nine cities across the U.S. beginning on February 14, 2019.
Cities include:
- Baltimore, Maryland
- Washington D.C.
- Chicago, Illinois
- Denver, Colorado
- Detroit, Michigan
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- New Orleans, Louisiana
- Orlando, Florida
Austin is now the third Texas city Spirit has joined; alongside Houston and Dallas.
“Austin is not only a booming hub for music, cuisine and the arts, but it has quickly become an economic driver for multiple other industries,” said Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines’ Vice President of Network Planning in a press release.
