AUSTIN, Texas – A driver was rescued by first responders after a vehicle flipped upside down into a creek early Friday morning. 

The vehicle was reported upside down in a creek on the 7300 block of Elroy Road around 2:41 a.m.

The driver was pulled out of the water and evaluated by Austin/Travis County EMS for injuries.

It is unclear if the overnight rain was a factor in the crash. However, ATCEMS warned driver to be cautious during weather and to turn around if there is water on the road.
