AUSTIN, Texas – While Austin is under a boil water notice there are several places throughout the city offering free bottled water.
City officials set up seven distribution sites across Austin to provide water for those who need it. The sites will offer water from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 25.
After the notice was issued, Austinites flocked to grocery stores quickly depleting the water supplies. Most stores are now limited the purchase of only four cases of water at a time.
On Wednesday, the distribution sites served a total of 30,000 cases of water with a total of 96,000 gallons of water.
Schools are providing water for students on campus.

- Kelly Reeves Stadium: 10211 W Parmer Ln
- Walnut Creek Park: 12138 N Lamar Blvd
- Home Depot St. Johns: 7211 N I-35 SVRD northbound
- Roy Guerrero Park: 400 Grove Blvd
- Onion Creek Park Soccer Complex: 5600 E Williams Cannon Dr
- Dick Nichols Park: 8011 Beckett Rd
- Circuit of the Americas: 9201 Circuit of the Americas Blvd.
University of Texas at Austin students, staff, and faculty members can also pick up water on campus.
