SAN ANTONIO – A man was killed ealy Friday morning after a pick-up ran into the side of his car.

According to Bexar County police, a pick-up truck was heading southbound on Hwy 16. Another vehicle was heading eastbound on Twin Valley and pulled onto Hwy 16 when the pick-up hit him.

The man driving the car was dead when officials arrived. A woman and two kids in the pick-up truck were taken to University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was not injured. 

After police investigated, the driver and the passenger of the pick-up stated the car was going eastbound on Twin Valley and ran the stop sign. The people in the pick-up were unable to stop. 

The driver was charged with DWI with a child passenger/intoxication man slaughter.
