ORLANDO, Florida  Once again, highs soared into the 90s under plenty of sunshine.

These temperatures are well above the average for this time of year and Sanford has broken the old record for the second day in a row.

Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be warm and muggy, falling into the mid to low 70s.

It will be another hot day for Thursday, although a few degrees lower as clouds and the chance for rain increase.

Thursday will begin with mostly sunny skies, but clouds will increase heading into the afternoon. There will also be a few showers and storms that develop for the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will climb to around 90 degrees.

Rain chances will climb for Friday and Saturday as a front moves in. Temperatures will stay above average through Saturday, but a secondary front will knock temperatures into the low 80s early next week.

This system will create rough ocean conditions over the next few days. Expect a decent chop on the water with breezy winds, along with a moderate rip current threat.

Tropical Update

In the tropics, no development is expected in the next five days.

Hurricane season continues through November 30.
