AUSTIN, Texas – An estimated 2,000 people have power again after an outage in northwest Austin due to a damaged pole Monday morning.

Austin Energy tweeted around 10 a.m. that crews were working to store power to the area around Parmer Lane and Amberglen Boulevard. The outage was fixed by 11:24 a.m. 

Earlier on Monday, more than 1,000 people were without power in Elgin. It was caused by the severe weather.
