AUSTIN, Texas -- Circuit of The Americas announced they have partnered with the Austin Independent School District to honor more than 200 educators in the area.

As part of AISD’s Educator of the Year program, the district recognizes

• The district-wide Teacher of the Year
• A Principal, Counselor, Classified Staff, and Assistant Principal of the Year
• A campus Teacher of the Year from each of its 130 school sites
• 86 promising educators in the first year of their profession

COTA is providing each of those educators and a guest with complimentary Formula 1 USGP three-day passes in recognition of their dedication and hard work throughout the year.

"The educators who we are honoring have worked tirelessly to foster a passion for learning in their students, and to help raise a generation of open minds. At COTA we are proud to help celebrate their accomplishments." said Circuit of The Americas Chairman Bobby Epstein.

Each pass will allows the user to experience Formula 1 on and off the track from Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21. After watching the race on Saturday, educators can head to the Super Stage for a Bruno Mars concert. On Sunday, they can return for another day of racing and a post-race performance by Britney Spears.
