AUSTIN, Texas -- Austin police are investigating a series of robberies involving PlayStations and flat screen televisions.

• Suspects put up fake ads on social media
• Victims then robbed at gunpoint
• Only one arrest so far

Robbery detectives say several suspects are luring victims by putting up fake ads on Facebook Marketplace, Offer-Up, and Let-go. Police say victims were told to meet at an apartment complex where they were robbed at gunpoint.

Officers said the victims were then told to drive away. No one has been hurt, but one man has been arrested in connection to the case. Lee Bell, 25, is charged with aggravated robbery, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The Austin Police Department believes there are more people involved. Authorities say if you are buying or selling to people you do not know, meet in public, and avoid meeting at someone's home.
