SAN ANTONIO - A new patch on the jerseys of the San Antonio Spurs is changing up the uniform’s look ahead of the upcoming season.

  • Frost bank now has logo on Spurs players' jerseys
  • Part of new expanded partership deal
  • Frost has been partnering with Spurs for more than 45 years

On Wednesday, Frost Chairman and CEO Phil Green and retired Spur Sean Elliot announced an expanded multi-year partnership that will include a new a Front Bank logo on the front of the Spurs jersey. The logo is a first-ever jersey sponsorship for the Spurs organization.

"The best part about all of this is that it solidifies a long-term relationship," Green said.

Frost Bank has been partnering with the Spurs for about 45 years and is credited with funding the Spurs move to San Antonio.

"We are excited to further out relationship with Frost," Spurs player Bryn Forbes said.

This new partnership will also include comprehensive community engagement platform as well as expanded in-arena and digital presences.

Fans can see the new jerseys when the Spurs play the Miami Heat on Sept. 30.
